These terms govern your use of the Saharienne portal at saharienne.org and the free tools it links to. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

The service

Saharienne provides free, informational web tools. The portal presents two platforms — OpsCalc Tools and File Size Tools — which you may use without an account. We may change, add, or remove features at any time.

Provided “as is”

The tools are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. In particular:

• OpsCalc Tools provides calculators for general informational and educational purposes. Results depend on the inputs you provide and should be independently verified before being used for any operational, financial, safety, or engineering decision.
• File Size Tools processes files in your browser. You are responsible for keeping copies of your original files; we cannot recover them.

Acceptable use

• Use the tools lawfully and only for content you have the right to process.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer for abuse, or misuse the site or its infrastructure.
• Do not use the tools to infringe the rights of others.

Intellectual property

The Saharienne name, the portal design, and its text are the property of their respective owners. You retain all rights to the files and data you process with the tools; we claim no ownership of them.

Third-party links and services

The site links to the two platforms and may rely on third-party services (for example, hosting and, in the future, advertising). We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party services; their own terms and policies apply.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Saharienne shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or quality degradation of processed files, arising from the use of, or inability to use, the tools.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service develops. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms, indicated by the “Last updated” date above.
