This Privacy Policy explains how the Saharienne portal at saharienne.org handles information. Saharienne is an independent maker of free web tools. You can reach us at contact@saharienne.org.

This policy covers the portal homepage and these legal pages. The two platforms we operate — OpsCalc Tools and File Size Tools — run on their own subdomains and document their own data handling on their sites; the principles below apply across Saharienne.

Information we collect

The portal does not require an account and does not ask you to submit personal information. We do not sell personal data. Specifically:

• No sign-in, no forms. The portal has no login and no contact form; it links to an email address you may choose to use.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard request data (such as IP address and user agent) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, as described in Cloudflare's own policies.

Cookies

The portal itself does not set advertising or tracking cookies at this time. If we introduce features that use cookies, this policy will be updated and, where required, your consent will be requested first (see “Advertising” below).

Analytics (audience measurement)

To understand aggregate traffic, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics service. It does not set cookies, does not use cross-site identifiers, and does not build profiles of individual visitors. It reports only aggregate statistics such as page views, referrers, and general location and device type, and it does not track you across other websites.

Third-party services

• Google Fonts. Pages load web fonts from Google (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com). Your browser's request to Google may expose your IP address to Google, which is processed under Google's own privacy terms.
• Cloudflare. The site is hosted and delivered through Cloudflare, which processes network data to serve and secure the site.

Advertising — planned use of Google AdSense

We intend to use Google AdSense to display advertising on Saharienne in the future. Advertising is not active yet, and no ad code is currently served.

When advertising is enabled:

• Google and its partners may use cookies or similar identifiers to serve, personalize, and measure ads, and to limit how often you see a given ad.
• You will be able to learn about and control ad personalization through Google's advertising policies and your Google Ad settings.
• For visitors in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland, a consent mechanism (a Google-certified consent management platform) will be shown to collect consent for non-essential cookies before personalized ads are served, as required by Google's EU user consent policy.

This policy will be updated with specific details before any ads go live.

Data about files you process

File Size Tools processes images and PDFs entirely within your browser; those files are not uploaded to or stored on a server. OpsCalc Tools performs its calculations in your browser as well. See each platform's site for specifics.

Your choices

• You can block or clear cookies and site data in your browser at any time.
• You can use the tools without providing any personal information.
• When advertising is enabled, you can manage ad personalization via the Google links above, and (where applicable) through the consent prompt.

Children

The portal is a general-audience informational site and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the portal evolves — in particular before enabling advertising. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
